Little kicks

I just have to say, that the coolest part about being pregnant is feeling the baby kick.  I just love feeling those little baby feet/hands/ whatever move around.

My next ultrasound is next Wednesday.  I can’t wait to see that little baby.

Update

Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted anything.  Well, I’ll try to bring this up to date.  First, old business, the puppies have all found new homes and Sasha (Mom) has been fixed so she will not bring us any new puppies to care for.  They are cute but boy are they a handful.  J

Now new news, we are Pregnant.  I am expecting a little on this summer and we are all very excited.  The girls, especially Kaitlyn, can’t wait for the new arrival.  Boy things are going to change quickly for our house hold.  I went to the doctor today and heard the heartbeat and everything is going well. We have an ultrasound schedule for next month and hopefully we will find out if the baby is a boy or a girl.

Puppies

Three puppies were picked up this weekend, so we are down to three.  Another one will be picked up tonight.  Sasha is taking it fairly well, but she does seem a bit sad.  You can tell that she knows what is going on, so we are giving her lots of attention to try to help her cope.

Puppies

The puppies are seven weeks old now and ready to go to new homes.  A few will be picked up tonight, and we still need to find a home for 5 of them.

Puppies

About 5 weeks ago a Black Lab showed up in our front yard.  Scott fed her some treats and despite my objections, she quickly became our pet.  A few weeks later it became obvious that she was pregnant, and this morning we had 9 little puppies on our front porch.  The girls are ecstatic, of course, and Scott and I are franticly reading up on how to care for puppies.  (By the way, cushion was put out with the trash this morning...it was a small price to pay )

I'm an Aunt again!

I am an Aunt again!  My sister had her little girl, Grace, today around 11:30.  She is 7lb 5oz and 18 inches long.  She has lots of dark hair and looks like her brother.  Mom and baby are doing fine.  Grace has just finished her first bath and resting peacefully in her Mommies arms.

It is times like this that I wish my Sister didn’t live four hours away.  Thank God for email and phones.

Peter Pan

We took the kids to see Peter Pan at the Muny last night.  It was hot, and there were some kids that were standing a little too much in front of us, but it was a great show and we all really enjoyed it.  It was a late night, and we did not get home until midnight. The kids are really lucky because they were able to sleep in this morning, Scott and I had to pull ourselves out of bed at 6AM to go to work.  Oh well, it was a wonderful experience and we made some great memories.

Pet News

All of our kittens have found a home. Angel, the mom, was fixed last week so we will have no more surprises.  We loved having the kittens, but it is much better if we don’t add any more cats to the already large cat population.  We have kept the little black & white kitten and named him Tux (Tuxedo), he and Angel seem very happy together.

We have big news; we have added a dog to our family.  His name is Freddy and he is a 1 ½ year old German Shepherd and Husky mix.  He is black and brown and looks very much like a German Shepherd.  He is a great dog and is well behaved.  He will stay with us even when he does not have a leash on which is great since we have a big yard and no fence.  The cats are still a little leery of him, but they will all get used to each other in time.

Oh no, the crazy cat lady symptoms are already evident. I'm in trouble. :)

Sure, you're the same age. That's what all the crazy cat-ladies say.

Thanks Donna. I will work on getting more photos. I need to get some of the kids on the 4-wheeler. They rode it for about 2 hours yesterday while Scott and I put up the mail box. They are becoming country kids. :)

Congratulations to the Ashwells on their new, beautiful home!!!

Did you move in on your anniversary?

We need more photos when it warms up.

I think y'all have epitomized the word fortitude, especially from Aug. to Feb.

Has your fireplace been hanging around the 'wrong sort' lately?

My friend's daughter (she's in Mrs Navo's class) is singing tonight too. She told me last night that today is her "special day." They are sooo cute at that age!

No, that is not my house. Mine is in the woods but there is no lake. It is near the strobe light on the channel 24 tower.
