House News

HOUSE NEWS:
We have all of our paperwork filed with Jefferson County and the bank. It should all be processed by February 20th. When that is done we can start working on our house! We can already start knocking down the trees on the home site and that should happen soon! Scott and I met with the builder, the foundation man, and representatives from Stitt (our design firm) last night, it was over a 3 hour meeting and we spent most of it talking about the foundation. It is amazing how much goes in to the foundation, but you have to get that part right or the house will have problems for years.
Wish us luck it looks like the fun is about to start.

P.S. Stitt won the peoples choice award!

Thanks Donna. I will work on getting more photos. I need to get some of the kids on the 4-wheeler. They rode it for about 2 hours yesterday while Scott and I put up the mail box. They are becoming country kids. :)

No, that is not my house. Mine is in the woods but there is no lake. It is near the strobe light on the channel 24 tower.
