House Update

Scott and I both took the day off on Friday to help with our church Bar-B-Que. When we had a slow time at 2:00 we went out to see how things were going with our house. They are making good progress with our basement walls. Unfortunately there is a lot of rain in the forecast for the next two weeks so that will slow us down quite a bit.

This is the view from the back of the house:

This is the inside view of the arxx blocks. They will fill them with concrete when they are all put together.

Here are they guys putting the blocks together. Scott was able to put some on too.

Barring the weather, what is the timeline to completion and move-in?

We would love to be in by August 17th. That is the girls 1st day of school. We'll see if we make it, I think it will be close.

Thanks Donna. I will work on getting more photos. I need to get some of the kids on the 4-wheeler. They rode it for about 2 hours yesterday while Scott and I put up the mail box. They are becoming country kids. :)

No, that is not my house. Mine is in the woods but there is no lake. It is near the strobe light on the channel 24 tower.
