Well, they keep working away at our house. We now have two sets of stairs, which makes the girls ecstatic because they can easily go see there rooms now. They have laid down a sub floor in the bonus room, and they have wrapped the house with Tyvek. The builder said that they poured our garage floor today and the roofers will be there tomorrow to install our roof.
We have been working diligently on preparing our current home for sale. It is almost completely cleared of clutter. Of course we now have two storage areas to hold it all. We just have to give it a good scrub down, and it is ready. The house market is not so good now, so wish us luck.
The girls started school last Thursday, they seem to really like there new school.

Our house is coming along nicely. They have been working hard on the outer shell of the house, and they are scheduled to pour the concrete floor of the garage tomorrow.

I went out to see the new Trusses and they look great! It really changes the look of the house.
We moved in with Scott’s Cousin Kay on Tuesday so that the kids can start School in the new school district, and they will not have to switch schools in the middle of the year. The move has been stressful, but Kay has been great. She has been a very generous host and has made us feel very welcome. We are very lucky to have a friend like her. It has also been very nice to live only a half mile from our new house, making our frequent visits a quick trip rather then an hour drive round trip.
If anyone wants to get a hold of us, just call us on our Cell phones, or call our old house since we are still visiting it regularly to pick up mail and feed the fish.
I will post new pictures as soon as things get settled with the move.
Scott is out at our new house now, and he called to say that there is a big crane out there putting the roof trusses on the house. They have all of the main house trusses on, and now they are working on the garage. Woo hoo, our house has a full skeleton! Now, lets get started fleshing it out.
I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the builder worked on our house on Monday and now we have walls in the garage. The bad news is that he has not been out there since then. It is very hard to see time ticking away with no progress. Hopefully he will be out there the last two days of the week so we can make some more progress.
Look we have walls upstairs!!
Here is a view of the whole house
Our garage, the area with no walls is our pantry and laundry room.
We took my parents out to the house over the weekend. Almost all of the upstairs walls are up. The Kids are very anxious for stairs, but there was a ladder there so we could go up and look around. The attic trusses will be delivered today, they were supposed to be out on Friday, but the supplier did not have them ready in time. The builder is out there working now, so things are moving along nicely now.
We went out to the house last night. They are only working Thursday and Friday this week due to the height temperatures early in the week. They have the walls up for Erin’s room so she was very excited. We could not go up to see them because there are no stairs yet but we had fun looking up at them. The attic trusses are being delivered today so Scott and I cleared a space for the truck to dump the trusses. Luckily we have a large open area next to the house that will someday have an out building on it, so all we had to do was clear the path for the truck to get to it. The girls had fun picking up the nails and screws that had fallen to the ground, we lost count somewhere around 100 pieces each.
