The kittens have started to open their eyes. One had them open on Saturday and two more had them open this morning. Also, they all should have good homes waiting for them when they are ready. We are going to keep one, and the other three are going to friends. Two of them are going to
Well the kittens are getting bigger. We think they are two boys and two girls, but we are not experts. I now know that if I can not find the girls in the house then I need to check the Kittens because they are probably out there. Over the weekend we had a birthday party for the girls and the kittens were a main attraction. My niece Megan came in from seeing them with a dreamy look in her eyes and said they were “Sooo, cute”. I have to agree, they are very cute.
The kids are getting bigger too, the girls just had their birthdays and I am now the mother of a six and eight year olds. I just can’t figure out how they keep getting older and I keep staying the same. It’s a mystery. J

Over the summer this sweet hungry cat started hanging around Scott’s Cousin Kay’s house. We took pity on her and started feeding her and adopted her as a pet cat. The girls named her Angel and she has been a constant outdoor companion. Well, yesterday we took her to the vet to see about having her fixed and learned that we were too late, Angel is going to have kittens! Well, the girls are thrilled, and Scott and I are just relieved that the Vets office is going to adopt them out for us. So now Angel has a new box lined with old towels and is preparing for the big event. It should be in the next two weeks! Erin would like her to have them Today if possible, she asked this morning how long it would be and I told her about 14 days. She said “14 days! Yesterday you told me it would only be 2 weeks!” Ah, to be 5 years old, time has little meaning.
Well, I did get rid of some of the boxes, but I was not able to make my first floor box free last weekend. Instead we took the girls the Botanical gardens for an Easter egg hunt, and then picked up our bathroom mirrors and various other items on the way back. Even though I still have boxes, I am very happy because instead of using a little round mirror to put on makeup in the morning I have a nice big 70”X33” mirror.
We finally have a new bedroom set. We ordered it February 10th with a delivery date of the 17th. It took 5 delivery dates to finally have a whole set of undamaged furniture. I have never seen so many dented and cracked pieces before. The store ended up giving us some of our money back and a free set of sheets for our trouble. Now for the first time in my adult life, I have a complete & coordinated bedroom set. I just need to hang up some pictures and make a window treatment and my bedroom is done! One room down, the rest to go. J
