Kittens

The first of our kittens went to his new home last night.  It was sad to see him go, but we know that he is going to a great home.  The girls took it much better then we thought, I guess since we had made it clear from the beginning that we were only going to keep one, they were well prepared to see him go.  Scott took video tape of all of the kittens together so we can see those quite little fur balls when ever we want.

One of the little girls will be picked up soon, and then we have to find a home for the other girl.  We had a home for her, but they decided that they were not able to have a cat right now.  Our vet will adopt her out for us if we don’t find a home, so I am not too worried.

headache

They are adding new walls in the office space next to ours.  I have been listening to power tools for weeks, but today they are screwing in dry wall 15 feet from my desk and it is starting to give me a headache.  Of course I am much better off then the poor guy whose head is about 1 foot from the wall, he already has one.  L

Dripping Spring

Scott, the girls, and I took a walk on Friday just after the rain stopped.  The girls wanted to go to a place on Scott’s parents property that is affectionately named the Dripping Spring.  It wasn’t easy to get to, but it was well worth the trip since it was doing a lot more then dripping.

Kittens - 3 Weeks old

The Kittens are getting bigger.  Their eyes are dilating now and they are starting to play with each other.  They are moving around a lot better but they are still a bit wobbly when they walk.  I moved them into a bigger box yesterday so that there is more room for them to move around.

Oh no, the crazy cat lady symptoms are already evident. I'm in trouble. :)

Sure, you're the same age. That's what all the crazy cat-ladies say.

Thanks Donna. I will work on getting more photos. I need to get some of the kids on the 4-wheeler. They rode it for about 2 hours yesterday while Scott and I put up the mail box. They are becoming country kids. :)

Congratulations to the Ashwells on their new, beautiful home!!!

Did you move in on your anniversary?

We need more photos when it warms up.

I think y'all have epitomized the word fortitude, especially from Aug. to Feb.

Has your fireplace been hanging around the 'wrong sort' lately?

My friend's daughter (she's in Mrs Navo's class) is singing tonight too. She told me last night that today is her "special day." They are sooo cute at that age!

No, that is not my house. Mine is in the woods but there is no lake. It is near the strobe light on the channel 24 tower.
